The applicant is responsible for driving and supporting knowledge and training initiatives within the Group. The primary focus of the role involves providing support to the Corporate Finance practice, specifically in the realm of advisory work for listed public companies. Additionally, a significant portion of the role entails offering broad support to the overall practice of the Group.


Key Duties:

 

Facilitating Access to Corporate Knowledge:

Develop, update, and draft high-quality precedents, actively participating in the automation process of the Group's precedents and other legal content.


Knowledge and Expertise:

Stay informed about key developments affecting the Group and disseminate regular updates through internal alerts and talking points.

Collaborate with Knowledge Lawyers across Practice Groups (PGs) and Industry Groups (IGs) to provide comprehensive legal, commercial, and industry knowhow.


Handling Lawyer Requests:

Respond to ad hoc inquiries from lawyers promptly, offering thorough and on-point answers to establish a reputation as a reliable expert.


Client-Facing Knowledge:

Contribute legal insights to client-facing initiatives, including support for the Board Advisory Forum and Listed Companies Update Seminar.

Assist in producing client alerts and contribute to client training, as well as create legal content for proposals and other business development resources.


Training:

Identify training needs within the Group and actively participate in planning and delivering training sessions.

Utilize firm resources and processes to efficiently produce high-quality training materials and courses.


Knowhow Development:

Collect and input the Group's knowhow into the global knowledge repository of the Firm.

Populate global, multi-jurisdictional databases and resources, actively identifying and addressing gaps in knowhow to ensure continuous and progressive content development.
